Privacy Notice

This notice covers information submitted through Zine Barber Shop’s website and online booking form. It explains how we use appointment information and your choices about text messages.

Information we collect

When you book, we collect your name, phone number, any email address or appointment notes you choose to provide, and your selected service, barber, and appointment time. We also record your agreement and the fact that text-message permission was not collected, the wording shown, and the date and time of submission. Please do not include payment-card details, medical records, or other sensitive information in appointment notes.

Our website and infrastructure providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. This booking form does not collect payment-card information.

How we use information

We use booking information to reserve and manage appointments, contact you about your booking, assist with requests, maintain business records, and protect the service. Providing a phone number does not automatically enroll you in texts. The required agreement checkbox covers booking terms and acknowledgment of this notice only. It does not enroll you in automated appointment or promotional texts. Text permission must be obtained separately before enrollment.

Who receives information

Shop personnel and service providers that help us operate bookings may access information as needed for their work. We use Supabase to process and store online booking information. If text messaging is enabled, a messaging provider will process the phone number, relevant message content, and consent information needed to deliver that service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect legal rights and the security of the service.

We do not sell mobile numbers or text-message opt-in information, or share them with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Providers helping us deliver our messages may process that information only to provide the service.

Your choices and requests

The required booking agreement starts unchecked and does not authorize marketing. You may withdraw permission by calling (813) 515-7492. When texts are sent, you may also reply STOP to opt out. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your booking information, contact the shop using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records needed for legal obligations, disputes, or suppression of unwanted messages. Withdrawing text permission does not cancel an appointment.

Retention and security

We retain appointment information for business and legal needs and consent records as needed to document your choices. Retention depends on the record and applicable obligations; contact us with a deletion request. We limit use of the information to the purposes described here, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and photos

A parent or guardian should arrange a child’s appointment and provide their own contact information. The online booking form is not intended for children under 13 to use independently. If a child submits personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can address it. A booking or text-message opt-in does not give us permission to use a customer’s photo or video in advertising; that requires a separate agreement.

Other websites and updates

Links to maps and other external websites are governed by those services’ privacy practices. We will post updates to this notice here with a revised date. Changes do not automatically expand a text-message permission you previously gave. See our Text Messaging Terms for details.
